During the Renaissance, Donatello created sculptures by freeing the "souls" trapped inside stubborn blocks of marble. Luckily, the ice blocks from the forests of Østfold are much more pliable. However, the art of revealing the inner "souls and shapes" is still a traditional practice. By collaborating with the best artists in the trade, we create amazing works of art. Our machines are also capable of precise grinding and shaping. Our lake ice is unique because it contains visible traces of nature's DNA within its crystal-clear form. It's as if we're witnessing another dimension within the art pieces. The cycle is complete when the art gradually returns to nature and recycles itself. We also ensure minimal environmental impact with our solar-powered cold storage. Creative professionals can even come and sculpt here, ensuring sustainability from start to finish.
