In order to achieve the best possible results for ice scenes, the production team hired personnel from DesignIce to provide their expertise in both Norway and England. The CEO, Thomas Orderud, acted as an ice consultant and worked closely with the art department.

DesignIce's extensive knowledge and the use of ice from Norwegian lakes, the production team was able to produce higher-quality images at a more affordable cost compared to using artificial ice made from acrylic and other materials.
